Balanced sweetness comes through in the fragrance of City/City+ roasts, notes of raw sugars, buttery toffee, and a note of dried date. The wet aroma had brown sugar and wheat-y accents that brought to mind bran muffins, along with a dried raisin note. The cup flavors came off well-balanced, and clean in both City and Full City roasts we tested. The lighter of the two had a floral hint that complimented a sweet note of honey, with layered profiles of brown sugar, torrone candy, and butter pecan ice cream. A citrus accent note brings a mild brightness to the brew too. At Full City, dark chocolate notes play off satiny body, and a complex finish accented by hints of clove oil, and saffron.

Roasted in Small Batches

We roast on a small system, in small batches, and often — because that's how you get coffee that actually tastes like it should. Every batch is roasted to bring out the best in the bean, then bagged and shipped or set out in the case while it's fresh. Online orders go out as whole bean to hold that freshness; come into the shop and we'll grind a bag for you however you brew.

Sourced with Care

Good coffee starts long before the roaster. We source ethically and choose beans we're proud to put our name on — single origins from Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Peru, and Sumatra, plus our house Monkey Blend and a Donkey Blend decaf for the after-dinner crowd. If you've had our espresso in the café, this is the same coffee, ready to brew at home.

Yes — we ship anywhere in the US for a flat $10, and shipping is free with a coffee subscription. Prefer to grab a bag in person? Come see us at 495 S Main St in downtown Driggs.

Are the beans whole bean or ground?

Online orders ship as whole bean, which keeps the coffee at its freshest. Stop by the shop and we're happy to grind a bag for you on the spot.

We roast in small batches and roast often, so your bag ships fresh — not something that's been sitting on a shelf for months.
